John Yamamoto’s 26 years of leadership has established PEMCO Limited as a preferred partner in various disciplines of private and government contracting and real estate asset management.

Mr. Yamamoto initiated PEMCO Limited’s rise by applying his engineering background to several multi-million dollar engineering and construction management projects. Mr. Yamamoto then steered the evolution of PEMCO Limited’s services to address market shifts, which served as a growth catalyst for the future. Since then, PEMCO Limited has completed two consecutive contracts for the US. Department of Housing and Urban Development, several contracts with the U.S. General Services Administration and the Department of Defense, and opened a full service real estate sales division. Under John Yamamoto’s direction, PEMCO Limited remains steadfast in our vision to lead the industry in real estate marketing, management, and sales for private clients and government agencies.

John Yamamoto holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and a Master of Business Administration, and has completed management and real estate strategy programs at Harvard University Business School. He is a registered professional engineer holding a RME contractor’s license and a Real Estate Brokers license with over 40 years of experience in real estate, engineering and construction industries. Before founding PEMCO Limited, he managed technical services companies in senior corporate management and project management positions.

Mr. Yamamoto also possesses several accolades, including a nomination by Ernst & Young as Entrepreneur of the Year. He is also responsible for PEMCO Limited’s recognition by Hawaii Business News, DiversityBusiness.com, the U.S. Small Business Administration, the U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation, and the City and County of Honolulu.
