PEMCO LIMITED FINALIST FOR HAWAII’S BBB TORCH AWARDS 2017

BBB Torch Awards Honor Ethical Business Practices

MARCH 9, 2017 – PEMCO Limited is a finalist at the Hawaii’s Better Business Bureau (BBB) Torch Award. An award ceremony will be held Friday March 31 at the Sheraton Waikiki. These Awards focus on demonstrated ethical business practices with key stakeholders including customers, employees and the community at large, rather than a company’s growth, profitability or popularity.
“BBB’s Torch Award finalists have shown that ethics and integrity are core values of their organization,” said Gregory Dunn, President and CEO of Hawaii’s BBB. “Our finalists not only believe in the high standards promoted by the BBB, but also consistently act on and integrate them into their daily practices.”
“PEMCO Limited was built on and has thrived from the mindset of “doing what is right, not what is easy”. To this day, each staff member strives towards excellence as a team with one common goal. For that reason, we dedicate this accomplishment to our Founder, John Yamamoto (1940 – 2017).” Kimiko Yamamoto, CEO, PEMCO Limited
This year’s BBB Torch Award keynote speaker is Stephen M. R. Covey, co-founder of CoveyLink and the FranklinCovey Global Speed of Trust Practice. Covey is also a New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of “The SPEED of Trust.” A sought-after and compelling keynote speaker and advisor on trust, leadership, ethics and high performance, he speaks to audiences around the world.
